She has an ipod. . .I dont even have an ipod. Not only does she have one but I am fairly certain that today she liked it more than she liked me. If she thinks having to play with her brother is an interpretation of us not liking her she certainly won't like what happens when we meet her first boyfriend! lol

Miss K again. I said in the beginning that this blog wouldn't always be about technically perfect photos but more about capturing my kids. She can be such a goof sometimes. This is what she calls the upside down "Hannah Montana" pose because apparently the finger over the lips happens at the end of her HM Wii game. I just roll with it!

Justin's 4th birthday. Where did another year go? As I sit here watching my little man sleeping on the couch I honestly am choked up over it. I can not believe he is 4. I feel as if I can close my eyes and remember every detail so vividly of the day he entered our lives. As I look at the picture of him making a wish and blowing out his candles, I have so many wishes for him too. He is our "love bug" always the one that wants to cuddle. He loves firetrucks, cop cars & dinosaurs. His favorite food is oatmeal & pizza. He is simply amazing (even when he is getting into trouble) and I love him.

So Justin had his first day back at preschool since the break today. We missed a day because of a snowday, so his presents that he made us came home today. He was SO excited to give me mine, and I was THRILLED to receive it. I told him I would open it as soon as we were home. Then he says "Its an ohnament Mom. Caful its vewy vewy blass." Ok Justin has some speech issues, so if you didnt get that he said "Its an ornament Mom. Careful its very very glass." All before I opened it of course. So after we opened it together at home I told him we should take a picture of him with his ornament for Mommy. How cute is it right? They made his handprint on the clear ornament ball with white paint then turned his fingers into snowmen! I also love that in the picture I can see his name on the other side of the ornament, so I never forget.

Jude, oh Jude. I always say he is the one that will be the death of me. I mean you can see it right - that spark, that fire in his eyes. Always on the look out for what he can do next to undo what I have just done. The worst part of his bad streak - he is quiet. You don't know what he has done until it is over. But then in the evening when he climbs up onto the couch next to you and rests his head on my shoulder and says "ohhhh mama". Oh I melt. For a second anyway, until I turn my head to the right and see the blue crayon on the wall. He loves fruit - any fruit. And his choice for breakfast today was an apple - while he sat in the doorway watching me walk Kayla to the bus stop. I came home he was sitting there, his eyes so amazing in the sunlight next to the deep dark floors and the red apple. I couldn't resist. Out came the camera!

Well today is Reid's day. I had a massive headache plus I have had bronchitis so I had a chance to see just how hard this could be with four kids and being sick. But I pulled through! It may be 7:10 but it is still day 4 and I did it! Reid discovered that he could pull his legs up high enough to grab his toes AS I was taking his picture. It could not have been more perfect. At almost 5 months old, he has still yet to discover and master rolling over. All in good time. . .all in good time. . .

I had to do a quickie headshot of myself so while I was setting up the camera with the right settings for my husband to take my picture, I used Kayla as my model. I have to say when I first opened this up I looked at her and thought "Wow 7 years. How in the world did that happen?." My second thought was immediately what an amazing girl she is turning into and how incredibly beautiful I think she is. In a home with 3 boys and 1 husband, I am glad she is my girl!
